BACKGROUND
Derrick Young runs Forever Young Spa in Back Bay. Like most independent medspas, the business was growing faster than its systems: reservations coming in through ClassPass had to be manually re-entered into the salon’s booking platform. The website was outdated and slow. And there was no structured way to show up when potential clients asked an AI model for a recommendation in Boston. Three problems, one owner, not enough hours in the day.
THE CHALLENGE
Manual booking entry from ClassPass roster emails into Mangomint — 20–40 bookings per week, each a chance for a double-booking or a lost client.
An outdated website that didn’t reflect the quality of the in-person experience.
Zero structured presence for AI search — invisible to ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity when clients in Boston ask for medspa recommendations.
An owner spending hours on operations that should have been automated years ago.
THE APPROACH
We diagnosed the full operation in a 20-minute discovery call, not a 2-hour consultation. The priority wasn’t to “build AI” — it was to find where the business was actually losing time and revenue, then build the simplest system that would close those gaps. Three workstreams, shipped in priority order: first the website (foundation), then the booking automation (operational pain), then AI visibility (growth).

BUILDINGEnd-to-end automation: ClassPass daily roster emails are parsed by Claude, cross-referenced against the Mangomint calendar for conflicts, and auto-created as appointments with zero front-desk touches. Conflicts route to staff via WhatsApp with suggested alternatives.
AI Visibility (AEO) Stack
IN PIPELINEFull AEO infrastructure: llms.txt, 20+ AI crawler allowlist, schema graph, AEO content rewrite, citation seeding. Goal: make Forever Young Spa the default recommendation when Boston clients ask ChatGPT for a medspa.
