Nonprofits and foundations
AI should pay off for every mission.
We build it into the reporting your team repeats every cycle. We measure the hours before and after.

The gap
Staff often try AI on their own, one task at a time. We build it into the work your organization repeats, so the gain stays when people change.
What we build
Funder and board reporting
A register of each grant's deliverables and due dates, for the reporting workflow we scope with you. Drafts built from your program data in each funder's format, with every figure linked to its source and checked by rules we write down with you. Your reviewer signs before anything is sent. We start from the files and tools your team already uses, and the scope says what we connect and what we add.
Assistants for the people you serve
Assistants that answer in English and Spanish from resources your team has vetted. The scope sets which questions they answer, the signs that send someone to your staff, and who on your team receives them.
Tools from public data
Public data from sources such as the Census Bureau and the Department of Education, turned into tools your community and your funders can use. Every figure shows its source and, where it applies, its margin of error.
How we work
- 1
We measure the work.
A diagnostic scheduled around one of your real reporting cycles. We log the hours that cycle takes, by role. We map your sources and permissions and check what your current software already does. It ends with a recommendation: configure what you have, buy a tool, or build. If we recommend a build, you get a written scope, acceptance criteria and a fixed price.
- 2
We build one workflow and measure it.
We build the scoped workflow, train your team and support the first live reporting cycle. We log the hours again on the next cycles and report them next to our estimate, whether or not they match.
- 3
We hand it over and support it.
You get documentation your team can use. After the first live cycle, we quote changes one at a time, or agree a monthly support plan with defined hours and response times when the work needs one.
Proof
Leadership Brainery, Boston
We built Leadership Brainery's website and the Brainery Advisor, an assistant that answers in the organization's voice from resources its team has vetted. We also built an explorer of average annual federal borrowing for graduate programs, from federal data.
leadershipbrainery.orgThe Fourth SpAYce
We built The Fourth SpAYce, a resource platform for young adults with cancer, in English and Spanish, with an AI assistant that answers from resources its team has vetted.

How it is priced
Every engagement starts with the diagnostic, at a fixed fee agreed before we begin. If it recommends a build, it sets the build's fixed price in writing.
We price nonprofits by the work, at the same rates as every client, with a minimum fee for the diagnostic and for the build. Fees are fixed and never a percentage of a grant or a gift.
If you plan to fund the work through a grant, the diagnostic can include a scope and budget for your organization to check against your funder's terms.
Questions
Do you offer a nonprofit discount?
No. Every client pays the same rates, set by the work, and the same minimum fees. A large project can be split into phases you approve one at a time.
Can a grant pay for this?
It depends on your funder's terms. We prepare a scope and budget for your organization to check against them. Your organization owns and submits any proposal. Our fees are fixed and never depend on an award.
What happens to our data and the data of the people we serve?
We document where your data is stored and processed. We agree access and retention with you before implementation. We select AI services under data-use terms you approve. Before any data moves, we agree with you which records the work may use.
What if the diagnostic finds a build is not worth it?
Then the diagnostic says so. It can end with configuring the tools you already have or buying an existing product, with no build.
Who keeps it running?
Your team runs it day to day, with the documentation we hand over. We support the first live reporting cycle. After that, we quote changes one at a time, or agree a monthly plan with defined hours and response times.
Who owns what you build?
Your organization owns the deliverables we build for you. The agreement lists any third-party or pre-existing components and the terms they come with.
How long does it take?
The diagnostic follows one of your real reporting cycles, so its length depends on when that cycle falls. It sets the build timeline in writing.
Do you work with foundations?
Yes. For foundations we scope grant intake, review preparation and portfolio reporting. That work differs from a grantee's reporting, so we scope it on its own.
Do you work in Spanish and in Mexico?
Yes. We work in English and Spanish, in the United States and Latin America. In Mexico we invoice with CFDI, in pesos or dollars.
